Biography

Ms. Astrid Hampton was born near Braunschweig, Germany. After completing her training as an office clerk and working for two years in industry, she moved to Cape Town, where she started her family.

​

There, she gained extensive experience over several decades as an Accountant and later as a Financial Controller at an internationally leading company in the operation of drilling rigs and drilling vessels.

​

For over 8 years, Ms. Hampton has successfully applied her expertise in both German and English GAAP, as well as her organizational skills, at Steiner Tax Consultants. She is responsible for South African payroll processing and reporting on SAGE and GreatSoft, and also manages accounting and monthly closings for German mandates using the HMD Software system.
